Yesterday - a story of success
Pocco Software is a Canadian company based in Ontario. Established in 2002 Pocco Software rose to a forefront of innovation in mobile technology. Pocco's first product, the legendary Cruzoe Crossword for Pocket PC, quickly became a hit. Cruzoe received raving reviews and was nominated for best product 2003 by Pocket PC Magazine. Still in 2002, Pocco brought ProTone Voice Recorder to the market. With many innovative features, ProTone established a new benchmark of excellence for Mobile Software. Following mass market success, base ProTone technology was adapted to number of custom applications such as Emergency Patient Tracking used by School Of Medicine at University of Miami, Florida, and similar systems for Children Mercy Hospital in Kansas City. Later in 2003, Pocco started a venture with Core Sound to bring DVD quality sound to mobile devices. This project soon turned into a commercial success in broadcasting and recording industries. Based on ProTone feature set, Wichita Audio Recorder, allowed 24 bit stereo recording up to 96kbps. Starting in 2004 Pocco expanded product offerings and started new development code named Ella, which later became Echo Voice Recorder. Echo brought first professional audio recording to the expanding and competitive smart phone market. In 2006 Pocco sold a significant part of its popular product line to Availsoft. Proceeds from the deal allowed Pocco Software to focus on what it does best - cutting edge development projects and experimental work on emerging mobile technologies.
